At New Zealand Alpacas we have over 200 animals on farm and approximately 100 more at various locations throughout New Zealand. Our animals are bred from primarily Peruvian stock imported directly from Peru or from Australian herds. Whether you are looking for Huacayas or Suris, coloured animals or white, pets, breeding stock or potential show-winners we have a wide selection for you to choose from. Below we have described the different types of animals and animal packages we offer, and we believe we have something to suit everyone.

Pet Quality Males We have a wide selection of pet quality males, known as wethers, suitable as endearing pets and producers of exquisite fibre. Pet quality males are available throughout the year, are reasonably priced and can be halter trained prior to delivery.
Breeding Females Huacayas, Suris, whites or coloureds, we've got the lot! With the widest selection of breeding females available in the country, we are sure to have a female to suit your needs. We have pregnant females of varying breeding quality, age and price.  All our breeding females are sold with an independently confirmed pregnancy to one of our superior males and will be a minimum of 2 months pregnant at the time of delivery. The pregnancy is guaranteed to produce a live cria or we will give you a free mating back to the original sire.
Breeding Female and Cria Packages One of the most cost effective ways to purchase breeding females is to ask for availability of 3 in 1 packages. All breeding animals are sold subject to a thorough independent veterinary check for health and soundness. All breeding stock males and females are sold with a fertility guarantee and pregnant females with promise of a live birth or free return service.   All prices quoted are exclusive of gst but are inclusive of health certification, confirmation of pregnancy by ultrasound for pregnant females, free delivery and all costs relating to transfer on the IAR for registered animals.
